What can you do to help stop the violence?
Donate a Phone and Save a Life
Isolation is just one tool used by an abuser to gain power and control over their victim. Often phone services could not be afforded, have been turned off, or worse yet, not permitted by the abuser. By donating a used cell phone you will assist the agency in providing victims of violence with a phone programmed to dial 911 in case of an emergency. This not only helps protect victims, but also gives them peace of mind, knowing that they have a way to seek help when needed. Additionally, if there is a surplus of donated cell phones, they will be turned over to, and purchased by, Shelter Alliance. All money collected from Shelter Alliance is used to assist the immediate needs of victims the agency serves.
If you or your organization, school or club is interested in sponsoring a phone drive for our agency, please contact us at 937-383-3285 or
